Please Help! I am a newbie to the forum and have just purchased my first Harley. It is a 2008 Super Glide. I bought the Screamin Eagle II slip ons on ebay and put them on. I think some of the baffles have been removed also from the previous owner. It sounds good and seems to run fine. I have only made a few short trips to town when I was told by a guy if I didn't have it tuned at the dealer I would slowly burn up my pistons because It will run to lean. Please tell me what to do. I am either gonna put the stock back on or not ride until I know.

Should be fine. If your not getting alot of poping on deceleration or when you open the throttle it should be ok. 2008 is fuel injected closed loop system. It should compensate for the exhuast. If you add a high flow air cleaner then you will need a remap or add a fuel controller to it. this has been discused recntly in a thread on the dyna forum.
