Jake, where did you get those shock lights from? I know that progressive has them, but did you order them straight from them??

Additionally, I would recommend some dielectric grease in the tail light plugs!

Yes, the dealership ordered them from Progressive. I went with the Strut & Shock lights for added visibility. They are so subtle, that you don't realize they are there until they're activated. Once you remove those stock turn signals, you greatly reduce that visibility from the rear.

Those lights/turnsignals are not that bright.Don't count on being seen by cagers.Have someone ride your bike, get in a car and follow with a 60 year old passenger in the car with you.Try this in the day and again at night.Be honest with yourself and then ask your passenger if he/she can see the light(s).later, rob

Sorry Greg, I won't be stateside until another 3 weeks. Once I pick it up and get some time, I'll be sure to post the pics.

When I was home on my last vacation, I was fortunate to meet forumn member Chipstah. He followed me in his truck to get some lunch and told me that the Alloy Art Strught Lights are very bright. I added the Shock Lights for even more visibility.

I hadn't been considering a panacea taillight until I was honest with myself about the fact that being married, I'll eventually need detachable saddlebags...and of course that means the sidemounted taillights will need to go.

I don't like the idea of relocating them over the taillight...that look just doesn't do it for me. At the same time, I'm not sure the panacea is sufficient to prevent me from getting plowed by an unobservant bagger...would those strut mounted LED's like Jake has peek out enough from behind a saddlebag that they'd still be visible? As with most things, there might not be a perfect solution here...

EDIT: Hold that thought, just found these on the Kuryakyn website..never noticed them before. The specs say they're for "msost" Dynas up to '05, but I'd think they could be tweaked to work? Is anyone familiar with them? The only two requirements here would be that they're small enough for the detachable sissy side plates to still be usable, and also not get in the way of strut mounted bags.

It was hard to tell from that pic...figures they don't look good once you get a better look at them. I like how discrete the ones are like Jake got, just unsure of the brightness of them, especially once the bike's been bagged. I imagine they'd probably be fine paired with the panacea.
