hey all i need some help on my 04 lowrider fuel inj 88 2 into 1 pipe its starting to crackle i guess and i feel as if it is loading up like come to a stop and it will idle down so low that feels like may die but after having clutch in for a sec it will slowly idle back up also if cruising and completely let off throttle it sounds like it has stalled unless you barely have throttle cracked then it will slow down sounding like a couple cherry bombs with glass broke slowing down anyway i took air cleaner off changed air filter looking at the butterfly it was covered in thick black soot does it need to be programed or whatever that is? please help have a good 500 miles to go on it sunday

I would go ahead and get stage 1 completed if you have not. Which means high flow air and stage 1 download from the dealer. I assume you don't have a tuner for the bike.

 

no tuner what does the dealer usually charge to do that? is it similar to reprograming the ecu or something?

 

Its about $150.00. You can get a PC111from fuelmoto for $300.00 with a custom map for your setup. I have SERT so I am not that familiar with the PC111 others on this board have alot more knowledge on the PC111 than I. Whatever you do you need to remap or put the stock exhaust back on. Yes it reprograms the ECU. I assume you have high flow air? If not do that also about $150.00.
