can someone show me where the extra support is supposed to be with the craftsman yellow lift? i tried doing it yesterday and ended up holding the bike myself a lot which is not easy. please some help thanks
on the right side of the bike, look down under the frame. Towards the rear, in front of the back tire, beneath the tranny, you'll see a piece of metal that extends down from the frame to protect the tranny. When you put the bike on a lift (doesn't have to be the Sears Yellow lift), that metal extension causes the bike to not sit level on the lift. You can either block up the other 3 corners of the frame with something homemade to level it out or you can buy the HD dyna frame adapter kit which does this for you.
