Is it a whole bike lift or a frame lift? If a frame lift and you have a dyna, be sure to get the HD dyna lift adapter kit or make your own.

J&S makes a great lift.
Best item I've bought for my m/c's.
Rock solid with my Dyna or dresser.

You are going to like a lot.
Especially when you raise it all the way up
and set the locks and push it around the garage.

The J & S lift is a frame lift, but doesn't need the dyna adapter.

Not familiar with that lift but, unless it comes with adapters or is made specifically for a dyna - you should use the adapters. There are some people that don't but it is highly recommended (and that's per an Indy I know, not HD).

You were right the first time .... You are not familiar with that lift. They don't need any adapters for Dyna's.

I am looking at lifts now for my DWG. Any info on J&S and the dyna adapters would be appreciated. I was looking at the Sears lift and I heard that Pep Boys has one and Harbor Freight does too. Why does the J&S lift not need adapters ? It looks like any frame lift would need an extra inch or two of clearance. Also, some of the lifts lower to 4.5 inches. Thealuminumone at sears lowers to 2.5 inches but is more expensive. Can I get by with the 4.5" if I need the Dyna kit, or does the put me too high? Anything else I should consider?
Thanks

I have the J&S jack and it fits right under my FXDL without the adapters. I started to buy a set but with the rubber covers on the rails of the J&S, I would have wasted my money. It is one of the best products I have bought for my Dyna.
