So I'm putting my tire into my fender (finally...after waiting and waiting and...oh yea waiting on people to ship my parts) \\;and I made modifications to the fender bolts to make it fit better. \\; But... my questions:
 \\;1. \\; Tire touches belt slightly so I have read other posts about a 200 and that I'll need a spacer correct? \\; Anyone have a measurement on that or other input?
3. \\; I have changed a tire before but never really paid attention to much to how tight the belt should be...now with a new tire that fits really tight anyone have a spec on that.

Don't know the answer to this, but if you have a manual, the torque specs are in there. \\; If you don't have a manual, I would suggest getting one - it does come in handy. \\;
LUke what is happening when you are trying to line it up? even with the 180 when you slide it in there it is a two man job... you have to have one person feed the tire while the other lines up the rotor in the caliper... be sure you caliper is on the swing arm support peg... you will never get it on there with the tire already in place... if the tire is touching slitely are you sure your allignment is true... that may be the issue your facing... i have talked to a few guys that run a 200 without any mods... if that does not do it, try a fender washer to space id between the spacer and the swing arm... that may give you the extra bit you need
joe...the tire does not touch the fender at all...it touches the belt so i'm making a spacer tonight in the shop...i have a better idea now on how i'm going to do it. \\; Kinda sad this forum has a few people with 200's but nobody is willing to devolge any information...now that i'm almost completed with it i could give better advice for people

shop manual doesn't cover custom stuff...and i'm not buying one to see how tight the belt should be
SkyRider. \\; I too am in the same situation. \\; A custom shop I have been in touch with, who has done this mod, is going to get back with me with the specs or (hopefully) make the spacer for me. \\; Mike ("Handler" on this forum) at www.gatewayxtreme.com is in the process of moving his shop and may not get me the info right away as he needs to tear the bike down and get the specs. \\; I may do a mock up myself and have the spacer made if I don't hear from him soon. \\; My problem is that I work out of town alot and may not get to it for several weeks. \\; If you happen to come up with the correct specs soon and are willing to share I'd love to hear from you. \\; If I get to it soon I will post my findings here for all to see. \\; I've searched this forum pretty good and it seems that Mike (Handler) is the only one who has done this mod. \\; I think many of us are waiting to hear form him so we can all get those 200's stuffed in there correctly. \\; good luck

well to keep everyone informed...i made a spacer last night...i have access to a mill, lathe, and whole machine shop so i whipped one up last night and i'm going to fit it up today...i made it a little bigger than i thought and might have to make a final trim and cut another 20 to 50 thousands off. \\; I'll see if I can take some pictures of the spacer i made.
