Wild 1 or Carlini Apes (Pics?) ?

Who got Wild 1 or Carlini Apes on there bikes ?

If i get the 12.5" Wild ones, I won't need to get new cables right ?

That depends on a few things.
When I went to 12" Wild 1's I needed new cables because they were also wider and had more pullback than the stock mini apes. It was a good opp to go with braided SS cables, which I did.
You will need to measure things out to know for sure.

I used stock cables with my 507s Drags.&nbsp\\; I opted to change the brake line though.&nbsp\\; Pics in my album.

Have you noticed any ill effects, like hands falling asleep, from riding with apes?

Oops.&nbsp\\; Mine are drags. I misread the post.&nbsp\\; My stock mini apes were pretty short.&nbsp\\; My personal experience riding with tall apes was far more pleasant than I expected.&nbsp\\; they look painful, but the stretched out ride for the 30 or so miles I rode was nice.

I found going 2" higher and 4" wider much more comfortable for me, especially on long rides.&nbsp\\; Longest was 600 in a day since I swapped and I was much more relaxed than I ever was with the stock mini apes.&nbsp\\; The Mustang seat and Chubbies have made a world of difference for me.
Everyone has to find their own sweet spot, with seats, controls,&nbsp\\;and bars
