Tuning a 2 into 1 pipe - 2 seperate cylinders?
Hey guys, I just got my bike dynoed and tuned, and I was curious to see what the map looked like that he put in, and I noticed there is only one fuel table and one ignition table instead of two of each. Does that mean the guy only tuned one cylinder and just dropped the same numbers to both cylinders, or is it just because it is a 2 into 1 pipe? Im confused here and need to know if I should get my money back from this guy. Thanks!

I have the same set up v/h big radius 2-1, dynoed power commander, k&\\;n ac. \\; My dyno sheet only showed the one line for hp and one line for tq. \\; And he said they did both cylinders. \\; They are a pretty reputable indy shop.

its been about a year since i've had my bike dynoed but i thought for sure in the PCIII menu at the top it had tabs or something for each cylinder's fuel and ignition table

Ive got the Crane HI4TC that allows you to tune the back jug seperatly from the front. So Im guessiing its your ignition module that is applying overall tuning settings to both jugs, not the Dyno guy. IMHO...

When I had my big radius pipes, there were 2 fuel tables and 2 ignition tables. The map FuelMoto sent me for my Bassani 2-1 pipes had 2 fuel and 2 ignition tables. So thats why Im wondering cause it just doesnt seem right.

Oh yeah, Im calling tomorrow to get my money back. This is retarded, the bike is popping and cracking and my gas mileage still isnt up to par.

make sure your head pipes are tight to the exhaust ports. \\\\\\; after my dyno mine popped on decel more than I thought they should, then I realized my head pipes weren'\\;'\\;t as tight as they were when I put the exhaust on(never retightened after warming up bike). \\\\\\; Made all the difference. \\\\\\; I would download my map to the computer to check for two cylinder tune, but I am currently on deployment in the South Pacific. \\\\\\; Should be home in a month, then I'\\;'\\;ll check.

Yeah, Im calling in tomorrow to get my money back. Bike is popping a lot at low RPMs while downshifting and its annoying. Bike isnt running all that great...
