Alright, i've used the hell out of the search feature on this one but I can't get a real clear answer. \\; I've seen a lot of people say u can use the panacea brakelight as the turn signals. \\; As in you can completely get rid of the bullet turn signals and just use the one tailight housing unit as turn signals also. \\; however, I can't find anything about this on the kury website. \\; Am i mistaken or is there something about how to do it in the instal instructions? \\; can anyone help?
I have a 2001 fxdx. Hooked the Panacea up, took off the back turnsignals (I just cut and taped the wires in case I wanted them back on at some point) and everything works as expected. Nothing special needed to be done to get it working.

 \\;
they actually make 2 led panacea lights... one with turn signals and one without.
the more expensive one has the turn signal option (supposed to be plug and play)... good option IMHO to not have to relocate signals or if you just want to ditch them for looks. May be less safe in regards to a motorist noticing your signal during the day....
I know that would not stop me if the time comes for me to relocate my signals. the info from their site. http://www.kuryakyn.com/lthd.asp?bn=harley&cn=Lighting
Nobody has mentioned this so I'll rain on this parade. \\;
 \\;
Kury does make a Panacea that has the turn signals integrated allowing you to remove the rocket launchers from your bike. \\; However, I have a friend that has it and it is VERY difficult to see his signals, especially in bright sunlight. \\; I've seen others post this opinion as well. \\; They show up very good at night but not during the day. \\; My friend is so conscious about this that he now uses hand signals when turning during the day.

I said this above.... "may be less safe in regards to a motorists noticing your signal during the day".... Even as a rider, when I am behind a motorcycle I don't notice the signal coming from the taillight....(just not looking there for indication)...
still it does give the option to be legal if your state requires turn signals and is probably better than nothing....
my wife told me a little bit ago " sometimes convenience and function is more important than looks" .... can't say i totally agree with her but she may have a point
The question is do motorists even know where to look to see signals on a bike? \\; I do because I ride a bike, but what about the average joe. \\; I gotta play devils advocate for a minute here.  \\;

Yep, after I finished posting, I looked again and saw that this was mentioned - my bad. \\; Not trying to talk anyone out of this option - just wanted to make sure it was understood there is some give going that route. \\;
 \\;
For me, safety, to a certain extent, takes precedence over looks and style but I'm usually willing to give up some function to keep a clean look. \\; That's why the detachable stuff is always nice to have so that you can use it when you need it but not have to look at it when you don't. \\; Not an option for turn signals though. \\;
