Ive rode them all...love them all. Each has its strength. I love to do some distance riding, I love to have a good city hopper.
I love the classic nostalgia look of the heritage with its big fat front, and I love the clean mean lines of the Dyna. I love the comfort the StreetGlide. Wind protection of the bat wing is amazing.
Love the value of the Custom. So much bike for the $ compared against the other two.
What to do.....riding here in Cold Canada, its nice to have the protection. But then again, you cant take a batwing fairing off a Streetglide.

Ya can never win!!
put em all together and what do you get.... Road King Classic!!!!!
I enjoyed each for different reasons....I like the Roadking Custom, but if Im going in that direction already, Id rather grab the Heritage (29 inch inseam)...softail seems smaller in my hands than the King.
you guys are awesome...my search continues. How do they justify charging THAT much more $ for the softails and tourers than the Dynas??????? Are they nuts?

 \\;
Simple - because they can and because you (meaning all of us) will pay it. \\; I bought my 07 FXDC in Nov. of 06 and paid almost 15k for it. \\; The 08's came out and they dropped the price to less than $13,500. \\; Why, because not enough people were paying what I paid for them. \\; They didn't change the bike at all, just the price.
 \\;
I'd buy the bike that calls to me the most and suits the majority of my riding interests. \\; Touring long distances is not my riding interest. \\; I may take an overnight trip once or twice a year and I can still do it with my FXDC with a sissy bar and a bag that fits it and then clamp on a windshield. \\; But, for the majority of the riding I do, it's perfect just as it is.
what 07bober \\; \\; \\; \\; \\; come on man \\; \\; \\; \\; \\; you would go street glide \\; \\; \\; \\; awwww man \\; \\; \\; \\; \\; its a sad day \\; \\; \\; \\; \\; \\ ; \\; f em all and buy a street bob lol
