07 Dyna problems

Hot's not good when you're a gal with hot flashes to boot. \\; But I had to laugh at Dyan-soar's post. \\; We dont have a garage, so we park our \\; Heritage and Dyna in a Haulmark 14' \\;Low profile trailer. \\;When you close her up.......then have to go back inside the trailer an hour or two later, it's almost unbearable. \\; Man do they throw off the heat. \\; \\; Even my 2 dogs give those baby's a wide berth when we get home from a day of riding. \\; I'm not too sure that Harley wont have some serious issues with this heat thing down the road, after these bikes get some serious miles on them \\; I just dont know how anyone could ride a Dyna with the new \\;96 in Arizona in the summer on asphalt. \\; That's got to be insane. \\;

dougm1950........THANKS FOR THE COMPLIMENT, but I think the prettiest is JakeinIraq's low Rider. \\; He won Junes contest for best \\;bike...... \\; Now that's one great looking ride. \\;
 \\;  \\;I just found out that the 5 3/4" bullet style light will fit \\;below my windshield without having to modify it.. \\; So when she goes in for winter storage, I'll have the dealer install it for me. \\; I just hope the PIAA xtreme white bulb I paid $50 bucks for will fit the new one. \\;I hate throwing \\;money \\;away. \\;  \\;I  \\;also want to change out my Derby and Timing covers for something else, I want a chrome primary inner cover, and a few other odds and ends, and If I'm a really good girl, Santa might bring me a set of 2 into 2 big radius pipes. \\; I'm sure my neighbors in this retirement community woud just love to hear those, along with my husbands scream'in eagles........but ya only live once........right? \\;  \\;

I have an 07 FXDC and  \\;I'm pretty new to HDs (not new to motorcycles).

My bike runs hot, especially with San Antonio temps reaching 100+ right now. Sometimes it is hard to start if I attempt a near immediate restart. Yes, it holds heat.

My pipes are relatively loud but not obnoxious. My engine makes no valve/engine noises at all and I'd personally be concerned if it did. I run Mobil 1 for V-Twins.

mine ran hot as hell till I put the aftermarket Vance &\\; Hines puter on her. Now she runs cool, cool , cool. I live in South Louisiana, dude its like hell down here in the sumertime.Now she runs all day and runs cool
