putting them on tomorrow. The insructions indicate that they slip over the dust caps and lock into the grove in the center of the cap.

Sub...post pics when your done or write if they do go over the dust caps and hide them. I'll be watching, very interested.
Needed to be cut down some (depends how much you may have lowered your suspension), but good tight fit, removed fork caps and held in place with powder coated SE Fork brace:
Got the Jammer Gators on. And yes they will cover the stock caps.
They are ment to ride in the existing grove (see Right side) and show a little chrome.
But as you can see (left side) they will easily go all the way over.
I like both ways, not sure but for now few more pics...
FYI - They are made in Japan and the instructions are in Japanese - but it has pictures - LOL
