I just got a new detachable sissy bar with luggage rack. \\; I do not have saddlebags on my bike and I need some kind of storage. \\; I don't normally carry anything but it would be nice to have a place to put a few things like a coke if I stop and get one or sunglasses, camera or whatever. \\; Once in awhile I ride to work and take my lunch. \\; Anyhow, I kinda want a small bag that wouldn't look bad if left on the bike like the 830-746 from the J&\\;P catalog but then again it might be good to have more room like the 830-230. \\; I just don't want it to look big and bulky. \\; Any opinions or suggestions for a good bag to get?
Check these guys out, \\;I bought one of their bags for my sissy bar and it is surprisingly well made. We were caught in a helluva rainstorm a while back and it kept everything bone dry inside. They have a no nonsense warranty too, not that I have tested that yet. Great bags. http://www.roadreadybags.com/
I have a T-Bag but not sure of the name. \\; It looks similar to the helmet bag, and it works great. \\; My bag must have been replaced by the helmet bag. \\; The T-bag stuff is very nice.
I have a cheapo insulated 840 denier bag I got from an off road store, made to attach to an ATC or Quad. the straps fit real slick between the sissy bar and the pad.
The stupid thing holds a couple of sandwiches, my tire repair kit, a couple of 20 oz sodas and a few random tools.
Keeps the chow and sodas cold for hours, even in 100 degree heat. best 20 bucks I ever spent.
