Stage 1 and EITMS ?

Wife bought herself an '08 FXDL. Do most leave the engine idle temperature management system on or have it shut off? Getting the stage 1 mufflers and a/c at the 1000 mile checkup\\; will the dealer download richen the bike up?

My 08 was off from the factory &amp\\; I left it off. The dealer download will richen up an extremely lean bike just a little. There are many options out there for fuel management.
