I brought my bike in for 5000 mile service and the guy added about 1/2 a quart too much syn oil to the engine.I noticed an oil stain between the crankcase and base of the jugs. I noticed the stain tonite after riding only about 30 mi. this morning , nothing rough just normal riding. I thought it may be just dripping from A/c but I took it out tonite and noticed a whole lot more oil there. I am sooo pissed at them now i can't ride until they get a look at it monday or tuesday AAAAAGGGHH someone hold me back when I get to see them face to face.
Thats why I do mine myself.

Well that and what they want to do it.
 \\;
Went the other day to just check on exhaust. They wanted 4 hours labor to put exhaust, air cleaner on and stage one download. lol
I'm with Bama, just bleed off 1/2 quart into a dish and cleanup the blowout oil, kiss your wounds and go ride. Learn a esson though, it only takes less than 1 hr ~ to change the stuff yourself and know it's done right. I don't know how much labor time they charged you for but once you add in all the down time it's not worth it.
some kind of refund would work too. \\; Especially if you paid them for the service and then you have to go behind them to fix it. \\; Plus the service manager needs to know what technician performed the faulty work. \\; A "come back" in the mechanic field is bad news. \\; Just try your best to keep your emotions in check and they should make it right for you. \\;
Don't feel so bad. I just had mine into the dealer for the 5000 mile. When I picked it up there was lube all over the clutch and brake levers. It wasn't a little smudge. It was literally all over the lever. I'm really not an a$$hole but damn, that kind of stuff just shows how much you don't give a crap about your job. I don't mind wrenching my own stuff but when your "garage" is the yard it's tough to work on bikes. I mean I don't have a place to work,except pulling the bike in the backyard and doing what's neccesary. Not my idea of a good time.

Today they gave it back and told me not to worry and it's fine. Tonite I took it out , went 30 kliks and there's oil all ove the place . Someone hold me back or just give me a hand grenade!
