Another one coming over to the dark side \\;\\\\\\; Another choice to minimize down time is to pick up parts off ebay, get them powdercoated, do a swap out &\\;\\\\\\; sell your part you replaced.

That's a great idea Bassman... The stock stuff is cheaper than going for the few wrinkle items avail on ebay...

Thanks for the tip.
I have spray painted the cow bell \\; with black wrinkle paint from Rustoleum. Held up good so far. ruffed up the chrome with nylon scrubb pad and put on two coats of paint.
If you find a powdercoater ask to see some samples. JRK is right, finding a good coater is hard. Maybe you could talk with JRK about what he would charge you to do some stuff? Sorry JRk not trying to push anything onto you, I just have seen your stuff and it looks great and I know you can do it so ...... Anyways, I found a powdercoater local that does stuff for the local Harley dealer here, and his stuff is good. Good luck!
my whole bike is black wrinkle so everything matchs the motor etc. I love my baby. Strugis here I come.
