K&N filter. Good for a million miles. Can be cleaned and reused over and over!

If it's the oiled filter, all you should have to do is clean and re-oil&nbsp\\;it. K&amp\\;N makes a cleaning kit.

The kit should clean and oil&nbsp\\;several times, I clean mine about every 2500 miles. Quick and easy to do.

The SE air filter from HD does not need oiling and you can clean it.

K&amp\\;\\\\\\;N part number HD0800 is a good replacement for the paper filter. Ordered mine from AutoZone for less than thirty bucks. It comes pre oiled but you'll need to buy the cleanin/oiling kit when it gets dirty.

Good Luck

The SE filter that fits our bikes hddave 2 is a non oiled type that can be cleaned in the sink and air dried. I did the same for my Sportster I used to have. The SE filter for the Sporty had problems and came apart after a while. Not sure if the big twin filters have that same problem as no one is talking about it like they did for the Sporsters.
