Glowing pipes, cant figure this out

Default Glowing pipes, cant figure this out
A little background...&nbsp\\; When installing my AN Big Sucker one night about a month ago I noticed that after a short ride at night the head pipes would glow cherry red.&nbsp\\; This was with a stock 2008 Street Bob with AN Big Sucker, V&amp\\;H slip on straight shots, and Nightrider XiED's.&nbsp\\; Common advice was that it was way lean but some also said it was normal (including Harley).

bike runs great but still glowing.&nbsp\\; tmax says bike never hit over 320 and even then only once

wow have never seen my pipes glowing what was ambient temp was the bike idileing a lot?

kinda a cool night for NC&nbsp\\;last night.&nbsp\\; Id guess around 70 degrees.&nbsp\\;

I would not call it&nbsp\\;necessarily abnormal.&nbsp\\; You'd be surprised what you would see behind those heat shields.

Thats what the TMAX support told me pretty much.&nbsp\\; We pulled up the temp logs and with it hitting a max of 320 he said there isn't really any reason to worry.&nbsp\\; I'll let it keep learning for now and see what happenes.

Mine glowed when it was stock (08 FXDF).&nbsp\\; It still glows some now after PCIII, dyno, freeflow exhaust and air.
