Anyone with an 08 have hot stall problems?
Mine started stalling at stop signs on the way home from a long ride today.
I was not in heavy traffic but it was very hot out, 95 degrees and riding back roads 45-60 MPH.
The bike would fire right back up and would run till the next stop then stall again.
When I got home it stalled again pulling into the driveway but when I stopped and fired it up again it seemed to idle fine.
I've already checked the battery cables and they seem tight.
Don't think it's bad gas, as it started stalling when I was over half way through my last fill up and my wife filled hers up at the same time and same pump.
Her Yamaha, of course is running fine as usual.
Edit: \\;\\\\\\; By the way, the bike is bone stock with 1600 miles.
And it may have been my imagination but I thought it had a tick more vibration and a bit less power than normal.
Mine wouldn't idle at all one day after riding three hours in the rain the prvious day, until I stopped the ignition and re-started it 2 minutes later. It's been fine ever since, that was over a month ago. now i have 7000 miles!
Mine did a similar thing a few months back. \\; I tried a few things and what ended up working was taking off the seat and battery box and straightening out all the wires in there.
