Default Saddlebags for a FXDWG

Well, I am getting ready for my trip to WI for the 105th and realized that I need a bit more storage on my bike.
Anyone have a preferance as to which sadllebags are good and yet not HD prices...I have a hard time with $599 for a set of bags.
I tried doing asearch on this site but it didn't work. Grrrr

I also have an 05 WG and I bought my detachable bags from http://leatherneckjims.com&nbsp\\;and if I remember right I only paid about 400 with easy brackets and the relocation kit, I am very happy with them so far. Will be posting some pics later tonight with the bags on. Email me if you want details.

Have to say from experience you get what you pay for.&nbsp\\; Just did a set of leatherpros, construction and quality is awesome, rock solid mount with no rattle.&nbsp\\; Cost with optional accessory pouches 760.00.&nbsp\\; Through local HD with 10% hog disc.&nbsp\\; Little spendy but don't think i'll ever have to buy another set.

It's true you get what you pay for but how much difference is between a $300 set vs $$700+? In the end it's still just leather wrapped over a plastic shell.

And just to be fair. these are not leather, thought I would give V-Leather a try. I like the looks of them.

I just ordered some bags but afterwards he told me that it would be up to 15 business days until they ship because there backed up on orders.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; I was disappointed to find that out and he offered a full&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;refund.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; But Jim has been extremely helpfull so I decided to keep my order with him because of his great service.
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
So if you need you're bags in a hurry, shoot him an email first.....He will respond within a couple hours!
&nbsp\\;
P.S.&nbsp\\; You're bags look good, I almost got the sameones but ordered the Black Thunder instead.
