Rear Suspension..Better Ride

Hey all, need some help or recomendations on rear suspension. I have an '06 Superglide. I replaced the front suspension with 1 inch lower progressive springs and the rear shocks with '06 Lowrider units. My problem is the bike rides very rough..stiff. I don't want to trade this bike in on a touring bike. Now that I have a back injury, from a drunk driver

, I need a softer ride. I originally lowered this bike because of my size, 5-7. I went on a 300 mile ride the other day and on some bumps the entire bike came off the ground! I have a Corbin solo and tried an Airhawk cushion on top. Seemed to help a little with the minor bumps. Thanks in advance for all help and suggestions!

You don't have to trade your Dyna in on a touring bike just trade in your shocks.The air shocks off an Electraglide or Road King will bolt right up.

might play with the preload on your shocks a bit too&nbsp\\; less preload should give a softer ride aka lightest setting on the shocks

the preload could be too soft causing you to bottom out the shock for a very rough ride over bigger bumps....I would adjust first then determine if a new set of shocks are in order...
