Looking to not spend more then $1000 on the pair if possible. I kinda waver back and forth between laced or chromed billet. I think the laced would shine nice, but seem like they would be a PITA to keep looking good. I like the chrome billet wheels they put on the screaming eagle bikes, but I somehow doubt I can get something like that in my budget.
suggestions?
I need to do something different then these gold wheels the MOCO stuck on there. I even toyed with having them chromed as a cheaper alternative, but I don't know how it would look.
Take a look at the chubby spokes. There is a 100 or 120 spoke radial laced that would probably look really cool on your bike. I've read on here that you can use a toilet brush to clean wheels. Just don't use an old one, it will do a $hitty job. If you find some nice wheels, whatever they are, for under a grand, you let us know! I've been tossing around wheel ideas myself.
If you want to be under 1K for the pair then you are probably gonna need to buy some H-D cast wheels from their catalog or find inexpensive spoke wheels...
gonna need $$ to remove then re-mount tires as well...
Chrome pros plating can chrome those stock wheels for about 750 I think...looks good... makes em much easier to clean...
might not be your cup of tea but I think these would look great. I almost did not post these because I just noticed the price....but figured i would anyways you never know.
These are slightly more than your price range, $599 each. If you find the right dealer, you can get them for up to 20% off which brings them down to $960. I recently got these for mine. I really like them. http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US

I was looking at the same style of wheel that's on your bike tonight at a local 'bike night' and digging them. There were two bikes parked next to each other... one had the chrome 5 spoke with the rough cast in between, the other was full polished. Both of those are on my short list
