Im looking for a side mount license plate for my streeet bob i cant seem to find anything in the parts books that says its for my bike. Ive seen some on here, could you please let me know what make you are using. Thanks alot. it sure seems difficult to find parts right now for the 06 dyna line with all the new changes. Any info would be greatly apretiated
I ended up with the one from Kuryakyn. It clamps around the swingarm just aft of the lower shock mount. I like it, though it was not my first choice. There are others on the market, like those from Cycle Visions, that mount to the axle adjuster. These do not fit the `06's, no matter what it says at Dennis Kirk. [:@]
I've also changed all my lights to LED's, including the rear bulbs (finally!). They all match up nicely together. Pictured below with the now-absent yellow halogen turn signal bulbs.
Clayman,
I followed craig's advice and put on the Kuryakyn. Easy install, 15-20 minutes and I think it looks good. Craig thanks for the Ace hardware advice those plugs match nicely.
Craigc. Is the side mount that you have the kuryakyn for the 05 models, any issues bolting it on. This is the part # i got out of the J&P catalogue 340247
I'm installing a diamond LED that mounts to the shock (or maybe tab for the belt guard if I can make it work). It's going on with my Jesse James fender in a week or so. I'll post some pics.
