im 5' 11" and am very comfortable with the stock 2008 fxdc bars, but i do sit very upright, as i have had a spinal fusion,

I am also 5' 11" and also Like the stock bars on my 08 FXDC , A friend of mine has a complete Riser ,Tach, and oversize bar set ( with internal wiring ) that he took off his 06 Screamin' Eagle Fatboy. That he said I can have if I wanted them.....I'm tempted, But I already added a Cobra tach on mine , so I may just try the bars ....we'll see. So Many times people change stuff for the sake of tinker****ing and find that they like the old way better , but I guess you'll never know unless you try....Enjoy
