Default handlebars for 2012 super glide custom

I picked up my first Harley yesterday, and of course have to do some mods to make it mine. It already has Vance and Hines pipes and I have the Burly Slammer kit to install this weekend. I need some advice on bars, though. The factory bars just don't quite work for me. I have T-bar on my other bike and love them, so I am leaning that way. I am also considering some drag bars with pull back risers. My goal is to get the bars a little closer to me, and gain a grip angle that works better for me. A little extra width wouldn't hurt either, but not necessary. Now for the tricky part. I would like to find a set up that will do this without changing cables or re-wiring. What bars have worked for others here? Thanks in advance!

I bought some t-bar drag bars off amazon for 97 bucks that were drilled for wires. They have a 8" rise and a 12" pullback if I remember right. They are made by BKriders and I think they were a great deal. The hand position is slightly higher but the wrist angle is much better then stock. You can see pics in my profile.

How wide is the T bar? I put 4.5" risers on my Superglide, brought them back closer---but wrist angle sucks. I want a bar with the same rise as stock but straighter wrist angle---- pics of different bars would help(hint).

It's good to know that it's not just me hating the wrist angle! Rooti, did your bars work with the existing cables and stuff? Also, do you know the width?

Here's mine with 4.5" riser and Nightster handlebars. Sorry for the little pic, but don't know how to enlarge out of my forum garage.

If you like a lot of pullback, the wild ones wo560 bars work great with no need to change any cables.

I went 2" pullback riser, urethane bushings and a sportster style bar... the buckhorns are horrible for wrist angle...

Jimmie, I put Lowrider bars with 6" pullback risers on my 08 FXDC and it made all the difference in the world. I hated the buckhorns with a passion! The whole set up was relatively inexpensive, didn't take much time and I didn't have to switch the cables out. We'll worth it IMO. Good luck!
