Holy Moses what a difference this makes. I ended up taking the baffles out of my SE II's(which is best IMO because of the amount of force needed to pound the hell out of those tabs) pounded the hell out of them for a few mins and what a improvement in sound. Rode for only about 10 miles so far but no issues what so ever. Even seems to sound better over-all really.
Before I got the BCT's, i found the that by using a pickaxe, or a sledge handle worked really well. The kind whre the end is flared out, larger diameter and sort of oval shaped. like this... http://www.tmeltd.co.uk/pickaxe.jpg
When the pipes were good and hot, I put the handle inside the baffle, tapped it a little so it's in there tight, then twisted it by the blade ends for leverage. The oval shape worked well and had them flattened out in no time.
Don't really know how to explain it any better.
I finally just said screw it and went with the BCT's. If you can get ones that fit your particular SE's I think you'll be happy. My bike is load as hell now. especially going under bridges or tunnels... sounds like the dang apocalypse is here.
I've also notice the rev limiter is now gone or at least bigger now. I used to hit it all the time but after a coupel days of riding with the punch out baffles I no longer hit it.
