No [more] new buyers should ever have to endure the grotesque, unremarkable, uncool finish that is Denim Black. Just let us poor fools who have already purchased Denim Bobs carry that cross on your behalf. Pick another color.
Alright, alright...if you go with Denim Black, at least stay out of the 90230 area code, will ya? :-)
GOD, do we all have the same story?? Bought an sporty last year and sold it in October when I ordered my Street Bob. The dealers were going to screw me on a trade in so into the washington post it went, sold it in a week.
LUCO, since riding season is about to hit, I would imagine you could sell it yourself for more $$. If you decide to hold onto it, I would be careful about what you put on for extras. You might get more $$ with the extras, but probably won't get what you paid to put them there. The sporty was fun and a good intro into riding (my first bike), but I love the Bob.
Whiffle was right don't get the denim, it sucks ([sm=smiley2.gif]
Both are great bikes, but their not in the same league.. As mentioned you might ride for a while to see what the '07 brings.. try to refrain from any mods for the '883 you just never get your money back on them and no amount of mods will make it a 1450.... If you can make a deal go for it, if not patience is a good thing (ouch).. At least your riding a Harley, and a Great one at that..........
Collected mine last friday ,in near freezing conditions, in London England, only managed to ride 130 miles over the weekend, AND I`m still grining now!
Save money, go for vivid black & a can of matt black paint ! []
well I was shopping around for the right bike. and my dealer told me to hold out a little bit for a new dyna model called the street bob. Showed me a few inside photos of it so he told me they'll have 1 comin july(05). What can I say.... no regrets here. Just glad he didn't try to talk me into something I would not want after a few months.

I don't know if patience is the right thing in this case...I heard no more street bobs next year
Seems like everyone likes the new Bob. It also seems like everyone with a Denim Black hates it, what is the deal? If it is so horrible, kindly let me know why, so I can change the color of mine before I am supposed to pick it up in the beginning of May.
