now I can see how many guys first bought an XL, then planned to "UPGRADE" for a big twin. Altough the XL being a great bike, all those people seem to be very happy with that change.
Out there guys that trade a dyna for a softail or touring for an "upgrade"? Or is it a near same category bike?
I really don't want to change bike every 3 months.....

Well, I'm glad to hear that there is no catasrophic failure with the denim balck paint. So I can stick to my original plan.

At this point I'd guess any Dyna's made before that date have been sold, and if they do happen to still be on the dealer floor, the dealer probably already performed the recall service.

IRLM1, I'd be glad to push it off the cliff for you but this is something you must carry out yourself. It's like puting your old dog down. A job no one else should do for you. We'll hold off until you get that ugly bike and make your way out here so we can do it in unison in case you get cold feet. And once and for all we can be free of these cursed bikes.

In addition to our crap-assed ugly denim black Bobbers, can we throw the heinous looking Jessica Alba over the cliff too? I'd offer to just plop her on the back of my bike, but, then I'd have to spend even more money on this POS to get the passenger pegs and pillion. The alternative would be for her to sit on my lap. The thought of that is almost as sickening as the bike itself. :-)
