hey the vivid black isn't great either. the clear that the moco uses is too soft. I get spider-wed scratches everytime I wash. Bearing down to hard will scratch also. I will just have to have it re-painted or re-cleared.
I traded my 05 XL883 for the Street Bob. The Street Bob is easier to pull the clutch in and also rides a lot smoother at 45-70 mph. It is a lot more comfortable for those 100+ mile trips I do on the weekends.
Seems like everyone likes the new Bob. It also seems like everyone with a Denim Black hates it, what is the deal? If it is so horrible, kindly let me know why, so I can change the color of mine before I am supposed to pick it up in the beginning of May.
I think some of the Denim Black owners are yanking your chain. Mine is denim black and I love it. They don't really hate it, they just don't want to see too many of the same color in the same town.
Hi John , [sm=hiya.gif]

It is real easy to clean, just spray over with mc cleaner and wash off with garden hose,
dry off with shamy, go get beer out o fridge[sm=icon_guiness.gif].[sm=itsok.gif][sm=signs003.gif]
New guys DO NOT buy the flat black BOB! Rumor has it the moco will discontinue this worthless bike never to be seen again. Matter of fact WHIFF and I live in LA and have agreed to take our bikes for one last ride up PCH and run them off a cliff in Malibu into the Pacific ocean. Who's with us?
Can you please elaborate on this a little bit. It seems my dealer failed to mention any recalls during the sales pitch.
Sorry Angry I missed the little wink
Well, I'm glad to hear that there is no catasrophic failure with the denim balck paint. So I can stick to my original plan.
I still was not sure about the Black Denim that I ordered, because the vivid black looked pretty good too on pictures, but when I picked up my Black Denim bob, I knew I made the right decision. Stick to your plan man!
Yes, there were problems with the first batch of Bobs, something like gears going to neutral or something, but all newer Bobs don't have this problem anymore.

I'm with you but I'll run it off the boardwalk into the Atlantic on my side. Just let me know when and we'll coordinate that plan. Who else is with us?[sm=alcoholic.gif]
