Default I have 2 questions, Please read

1: What exactly does the stage 1 download do for your bike anyone know?

2: whats the difference in Python 1, 2, 3s?

I'm looking for a deeper sound then the VH straightshots HS I love the loudness but a little to tangy for me.

Thanks for any replies, Naz

I believe that although fuel injection is self adjusting to a small extent, the difference when you open up the breathability of your engine(more air & less restrictive exhaust)is more then the stock FI can adjust for, so they hook it up to a laptop and manually adjust the amount of fuel during loads(mapping).

Besides the performance boost, I think the most important thing a Stage 1 does for your bike is to get it runnin the way it should be already. The motors are being set up so lean from the factory dut to EPA, I think you have to do the stage 1 (with fuel remap or enrichment of course) just to increase the longevity of your motor to normal life expectancy levels. Who wants spark plugs to leave your motor lookin like they were mounted to the nose of the space shuttle during re-entry. EPA??? Excitement Police of America, Enjoyable Parts Axed, Entire Planet Arrested, Erase Phun Anywhere, Extreme Panzy A$$e$

so far my bike doesn't act any different than it did w/o download. Still pops and blips sometimes.

I hear it raises your rev limiter also.... I would love to know all that it does.

Correct, it raises your rev limiter, and remaps your air/fuel mixture. The EFI download, in conjunction with the stage 1 air kit and exhaust is a nice gain.

I think the difference between Python 1, 2, and 3 is just revisions of the exhaust, or maybe different length and end cut style.

I have the Python staggered duals, doesn't note them as a 1, 2, or 3.
