Hawk,

You are correct. I just finished installing Kuryakyn forward controls today in about 90 mins if you don't count running to the hardware store for another cotter pin and some loctite. I left the stock pegs on for now and my right leg feels like it is going to slip off. Will this feeling go away with time and/or when I get the Kuryakyn pegs?

Not sure about Kuryakyns, but I never got used to that feeling on my bike. I hook my toes under the brake lever so I don't feel like I'm going to slip off.

You might try cleaning up your pegs really well cause if you're stepping in oil and putting it on the pegs or don't have boots with oil-resistant soles, it will cause your foot to slip off or feel like it will. That's one reason why I'll never wear my Justin ropers when riding again.

Well got my kit this past weekend. The local dealer had a sale and i got 50 bucks off. The system is really nice. I am tall (6-1) so it is really a much better feeling riding with my legs going out instead of under me. i got the regular kit. even taking my time it only took about an hour to get them installed. I do not have a problem with the feeling of my feet coming off at all.
i have seen a set of extensions you can buy that will set the pegs 2" further and i might watch for a set that are relatively cheap. I think with my height it would be worth it.
