1. Bought mine from the forum member Shooter64 and was the cheapest I found. Contact him on here or http://www.catseyecustoms.com/.

2. It's simple to install, tinker with, set up. If you can't figure it out, the customer service guys have been top notch.

3. I IMMEDIATELY noticed a difference the first time I rode the bike after my TMAX install. It ran much smoother and the power band was cleaner. I'd recommend it for sure.

I put a TMax on my 07, but went with a TTS Mastertune on my 09.

1. TTS is available now.
2. TTS allows you to tune your bike yourself without a dyno, using their V-Tune program. While riding, no guesswork or seat-of-the pants tuning.
3. TTS is about $425 delivered from Doc1.
4. Like the TMax, the TTS shows you all the settings in a table and allows you to edit everything.
5. TTS saves your stock map, to be later re-installed if you need to.
6. TTS uses the stock Harley ECM.

2.) Stage 1- about $150
3.) Thundermax- about $ 900
4.) Installation- God Only knows- I bet it's between $400 to $500.

I am told, not only will I hear the difference but I will feel the difference in performance.

What I want to know: Is the Thundermax worth the extra money? Why or why not.

Even if I go with the HD tuner to save money, is it worth it.
Install yourself and save the few hundred bucks. Search around and find the best price and know that now or right after to holidays is the best time to buy because of sales. Look for the sales and buy then. Get the tuner that works for you I like the pcIII because its easy for me to do myself. I got mine for about $220 ( i dont remember where right now, if I can find it i will let you know.) Look at the net and find a place that wants your business that does prive matching that works great as well.

Good Luck and ride safe
Steve

No, I had the stock ECM. A friend and I did it at the same time and both had immediate results.

If there was, it was insignificant. I averaged 45-50 the entire time I was in NC. Here in Hawaii I get 35-40.

I put the Tmax on my '07 SB about a year ago, together with Samson StreetSlashers and a Big Sucker.
I love it, the more I ride, (AutoTune) the better it gets!

Also the bike runs much cooler (temp) too!
Because of our Ecc Emision Laws in Europ, the bikes are verry lean adjusted (from factory) and running verry hot at normal riding conditions.
First when I came home from a one our drive, the bike was ticking in the garage for a half hour or so, with the Tmax I hear nothing.
That gives you an idee how significant it helps!

I'd love a T-Max but for the money I'll go with a PCIII From Jamie at FuelMoto. I had one for my Sporty and it was sweeeet and under $300
