Guys,
Just finished installing my NEW "Beta Gen III" Techlusion I got back from Dobek after sending the old one (Bought from another forum member) back to Dobek. I got the old unit for forum member, spoke with George at Dobek and he said send it on. I send it and get a brand new unit a week later. Super customer service!!!! New unit looks great and install was easy. Now, my question is......Any suggestions for the settings.....My ride: 2006 Street Bob, Stage 1 "race" download, SE AC, Cycle Shack slipons, 25 degree injectors. I'm gonna check with George tomorrow but though I'd see if anyone here had any suggestions.
Any help would be great.

I have a Dobeck TFI, but I think I have an older one. Mine has the flashing lights. I just played around with it using the directions and found what worked for me. Does yours have the "pots" or the lights? Good luck, none-the-less.
Arkieollie, Mine is the updated unit with the push button adjustment and led light. Spoke with George at Dobek at lunchtime to day and he said the new unit should be set up pretty close to right on for my set up and recommended that I ride for a while then give him a call and we could discuss any further adjustments. I must say, these guys have been a pleasure to do business with. Great customer service.....Their website forum is a little lack but I'd much rather call and talk to someone anyway. Every time I've called for George I've gotten right through to em. Can't say enough about them. I'll keep you posted as for performance.

Good deal. I plan on upgrading my exhaust so I will probably go back and tinker around with the TFI again. Keep me posted on what your settings are/will be.
Well....Just got back from a little diagnostic ride after the TFI install and I must say SMOO0TH as a baby's behind.... Definitely notice a difference. Throttle is nice and smooth and definitely crisper. I'm pretty darn happy with the unit so far. Also notice a little difference in sound and bike runs cooler too. I'll probably get with George and to make a few tweaks but not much needed. Got a little (very little) pop on hard (and I mean hard) intentional decel (coming down from 80 mph ) and once while in town. But otherwise Great. I might also check and see if we can lower the idle a smidge without causing any problems. I highly recommend to anyone that doesn't think they need the PCIII or the SERT to check out the Techlusion/Dobek/RevTech unit (all the same). If you're just going AC and Pipes and want a little pep go for it. I was told today that you can even do minor cam upgrades with the unit.
I'm not sure of the differences between the old one and the newer version, but, I had mine maxed out a the first setting and 1 or 2 clicks for the next settings. I left the last one at 0. It's my understanding that the race download did an adequate job on its own within that range.
