Not a problem, Leslie! The anti-rattle clip is item number 400455
($8.95/each) and the "Beauty Cap" is item 9072 ( $10.99/each). Please
contact us directly to order as item 400455 is not available online.

Thank you!!!

On another note, the HD kit is $349.00 + the Kury kit is $399.00, but on ebay the kury kit is $299.00 free shipping fron Eastern Performance, the kit says 2006 and up, I called Kurt tech support and they said will bolt right up to a 2009, this kit has all the parts needed. I would have bought it except I got 20% discount on parts for 90 days from my dealer. Kury kit # is 9063 Dyna foward controls.

Yes, the Kury kit is cheaper but I actually want the Black ones, and only affordable ones I find are the HD set, for 06 and up, 280 + ship on the bay as well as zanotti's (spelling?)

I used to have the +2 inchers on my custom softail, so I was looking for the same +2 for the dyna, only ones I can find are the custom chrome ones on ebay...

I am thinking +3 is a little long as Im just under 6 ft...

and thanks to WS6 thats a ton of great info in 1 spot

Les63, did you not use the Shift Arm Retainer for ‘06-up Dyna?
I ordered the parts listed above, but I guess im missing how to install the anti rattle clip?
thinking i got the wrong retainer?

any help?

Thanks, Eric

Ohh snap, I see they have a different instructions for the +3 inch forwards, apparently they have another part, that just screws into the mid shift lever to pinch it against the inner primary, never mind, I should have looked prior to ordering, could have just ordered that part...

...just buy some highway pegs and keep the bike fully-functional...

...too many emasculated Dynas out there already.

I did use the clip I do think it was the wrong one however but, it all worked out fine. See pictures. I did not use the beauty cap, just glued a live to ride sportie brake caliber insert over the hole in primary. If you use this method you will need a 5/16-24x1/2" bolt to attach the clip to the arm.

Question: I just purchased the HD Forward Control Kit, the Kuryakin anti-rattle clip and the "Beauty Cap". My question is when I install this beauty cap and tighten the set screw the shaft will still be sticking out of the case, do you then pull the shaft inward and install the anti-rattle clip on the backside? If so does the chrome cap become flush with the outer case or still stick out?
Thanks,
RT

I wound up not using the cap at all, I pushed the shift lever in and behind the bolt like the above pic, and used the retaining clip to hold it there.

I should eventually find a cover i like to cover it, but its good for now.
