Vic and Topspin, thanks for the info. Great looking bikes! I do not know why but the wideglide looks good to me in all colors; it must be the bike Topspin, does the detachable windscreen come in one size? If not which one should I get? Which one is good for our height? I'll contact hockey problem is that I am totally out of cash and I live in Italy so not sure about shipping costs from the states.

I also added Kury front pegs with heel rests. 50 bucks on ebay. These make the ride even more comfy for me. But besides the pipes, my favorite accessory is the quick detach windshield (not shown). Check with hockey8787 as he has one for sale... cheap. I just bought a backrest off him. He's a good guy.

Hey Buscha, the 2" lift was a simple install, keep the rubber fuel cross over hose, the stainless braid one was to tight and binding up the raising of the tank. Not impressed with HD's braided crossover line. The only thing I found out, and a few others on the forum, the bolt hole on the back of the tank will need to be reamed out and elongated. Take some metal out of the front of the rear hole so you can wiggle the tank back about 1/4 inch. Otherwise the top clamp screws on your forks are gonna touch the tank when your forks lay over when its parked or you're backing out.

I've seen red and blue emblems on the bikes, no ryhme or reason! I added a Sundowner seat to mine too, plus the quick detach windshield, and quick detach sissy. Ask away, I'm at work for 7 more hours!!

jto- thanks for the information re jackyl's tank lift. OK, I'll ask away. How is the sundowner seat with respect to the standard seat? It should be more comfortable, but does it move you away from the forward controls? I am asking because with the standard seat the forward controls are near the limit of my reach (I am 5.9 with 30-31 inseam). Also how about the quick detach sissy and windshield? Are you happy with them? Can one add detachable bags with this set up? (I like Boss bags). Whenever you find the time please post some pics of your bike. I would love to see how the bike looks with Jackyl's lift.

Personally I feel that the seat sat me lower.... gave me more lower back support. Back passengers will appreciate a Sundowner or ANY aftermarket seat also, i think the back pillon is 10" wide. My girls got a great butt, but thats not much to sit on after a few hundred miles!! But it doesn't feel like it moved me back.

I'll work on some pics, I'm terrible with that but I'm due to update the photo collection! The tank lift gave my LED lights a lil more room to shine too. I've looked into bags, I personally don't like the look on WG's. I have a set of TBags that slip over my sissy bar and rest on the luggage rack. Works great and I can take em off whenever I want.

Thanks jto! I agree saddlebags don't look very good on WGs, perhaps because of the fender. I guess, at least initially, I could get some Tbags, the big-small bag combo. They are cheap in respect to saddle bags, more spacious, and one can take them off, as you say, easily. Plus they are waterproof (right?). Maybe a small Tbag can stay on the rack longer for all the small things we carry but don't know where to put. I'll look into the sundowner seat, though I would prefer a seat that would move me down a bit and forward. Not as forward as the reach seat, but about an inch or so. Thanks again for the info!

The sidekick seat will move you back and down about 1 1/2 to 2 inches each way. Very comfy seat with lots of back support.

pinoy- that looks exactly like the bike I am getting! The exhausts you have look great on the bike. I also like fatcats though I haven't seen them on a wg.

Buffalo Rider- I like the looks of the sidekick seats, but I won't be getting any since it moves you back. Are there any seats that have similar style but will move forward an inch or so? Don't like hd's reach seat, I heard that it moves you all the way to the tank!

A lot of the 06's and 07's had it. Not sure if it was resolved for the 08's. Had to do with braking and the the clunk was in the trees. Was fixed under warranty with a new steering stem washer. Thanks. It's a work in progress. Working on a taillight with integrated turn signals. I should have it friday and maybe get to install saturday after I wake up. I want to be able to put some big bags on it and not really interested in that whole relocation kit. Besides I saw the light I bought in person this past weekend and it looks bad a$$. Since I can't resist showing it off...this bike is not mine.
