that Bike is currently in the showroom at New Castle HD on 422. they have it marked down to like 24K. I'm not going to pay that much but I'm going to try and get them down 2K more and go from there. I am putting it on layaway there so I don't walk past a new bike in my garage this winter and want to ride it and feel depressed..its better I don't see it..haha
any suggestions on what is a good starting price to negotiate from?
The dealer here in Augusta offered me the '08 for $22K after the test ride...it was hard to walk away but all I wanted to know was if the inverted forks were really cartridge-type forks. They were and the difference was incredible, making it that much harder to walk away.
08 SE Dyna's are BEAUTIFUL! The ONLY thing I'd change right off the bat is the Bars on that bike... I sat on one and found the bars too low and "Fat Boyish" for me. Put some 6.5" pullback risers with 1-1/4" Buffalo drags on it and you have a winner!

please excuse my ignorance but huh?? I know nothing about bars...
The HANDLEbars. They're very low and spread out on the SE Dyna. Put a pair of 32" Drags with ABOUT 3" OF PULLBACK, IN conjunction with a set of 6.5" pullback risers and you'd be amazed at the difference in Comfort and handling.I'll be doing this shortly to my Low Rider and had this setup on my sporty...see pic...
