I get 49/50 on a LC 95" setup with hypercharger and V&H BigShots.

I can't understand how people are getting the mileage figures they are getting unless maybe FI is that efficient. On my '04 WG I get about 40 highway and about 36 or 37 in town. I am easy on the throttle but don't lug it. Stage one carbureted. I would love to get over 40, but it ain't in the cards. Maybe the windshield and saddle bags drop it that low, don't know.

Thanks for the advice! is there a thread around that talks more about this in detail?

My 88" 5 speed so far gets about 40 city. I ride it pretty hard, sportbike background and all. I'm betting it'll get 45 on the highway, but I don't spend much time there.

52-53 usually, highway, not much interstate. On a trip in '07 got 57 on a tank and hitting the coastal lowlands of N.C. into S.C. down towards Charleston this past June I got 58 on the tank. I actually used a calculator to make sure!

6th gear at 65-67 mph...

start with the cams a good camshaft you will see 10 hp and 10 lbs of torque across the rpm range. to put it in perspective power to weigt ratio would be like 50 hp and 50 lbs of torque on a 3000 lbs car
