Thanks for all the input..... Can someone tell me if the Standard Kuryakyn forwards extend out further towards the front than the HD forwards? It looks as though that is the case in the pictures I have seen. It may just be an illusion though.
Also just to be 100 % sure I can install the HD forwards with out changing out the rear shift arm, correct? Or will I need to purchase a longer shift linkage? Forgive all my questions but when I chose to do things my self, even the simple things it turns in to 5 day 600 $ for me no matter what I do.............

Installing forwards are easy. Don't be afraid. If you can avoid removing the original shift lever, do it. You might want to go back to mids someday. There are ways you can attach the original shift lever to an engine bolt to keep it out of the way. The only thing I did was fabricated an adapter for a larger brake pedal pad. Makes it easier to brake with a larger pedal.
