your pegs are mounted to the swingarm. with you having 11" shocks, You have a built in spacer already. Hopefully it will be enough if it is true that others have had to add a spacer to their peg mount.
this is true lol. hadn't really thought of that factor.

Thanks armybrat02. Still on the fence on exactly which system I want to go with, but the BR 2-1 is definitely on the list.
I actually cheat a bit, use a pair of long, fat needle nose pliers. Put a rag or something over the teeth. Then once you get it broke loose, you can spin it out with one finger if you wanted... Just a suggestion.
I don't want to start a new thread but Rounder said that the passenger pegs are mounted to the swingarm. This brings up another question about the V&H pipes.
Can I keep the mid-controls on my Super Glide without buring my right boot?
Also, if the passenger pegs are mounted to the swingarm, isn't your passenger going to eat their knees every time you hit a bump in the road? I can see them being mounted to the frame near the pivot point of the swingarm but not on the swingarm itself. Let me know.
Like I said, I'm in Iraq and can't look at the bikes.

They are mounted pretty far forward on the swingarm near the pivot, so movement is minimal.

I looked at the D&D and Bassani pipes but didn't like them. Thunderheader says you need heat shields so I know the pipes will turn blue/gold. Looks like it will be V&H for me.
