Harley claims to have decreased the rake in the newer years to offset the wider wheel and tire(weight balance). Be happy as we all love rake!

Good advise...this is my first Harley and first bike w/o a tach since the 1970's. I was lugging the crap out of my bike unintentionally going by the recommended shift points for break in per the owners manual. Didn't take long to figure out stayin' at 2600-3100 rpms smoothed things out. I was shakin' so bad, I thought my eyeballs were gonna fall out. lol

BTW, I love my new Harley.

Thanks..... I like yer color combo! Thinkin about forward controls too... Is that an easy switch? Are they adjustable at all, or are ya stuck with one location?
