I agree with what has been said. Its a buyers market and a dealer will go the xtra mile to get you into a new bike. It will not hurt to try all they can say is no and if they do go to someone else or through another venue for financing.

I'm new to the Harley game, and even I think that's a high price for a 10 year old bike. Yeah, I know, it's still 2008, but the '09s are on the showroom floors now. I just bought an '09 Super Glide for about $11k. My credit is kinda in the ****tter right now, but HD financed me anyhow, although at a painfull interest rate.
I agree. Too much money for a ten year old bike. I'm in the middle of a divorce, wife and I are fighting over who's paying for what. We have several bills that haven't been payed in months, my credit is rather crappy. With 10% down Harley will finance any one, on any bike.
