Default adding a tach

Hey everyone,
I was just wondering how hard it is to add a mini tach to my 06 superglide. It doesn't seem to bad . I would just like to know how many r's i'm pulling . i have 150 miles on her.. Trying to break it in right..

Default RE: adding a tach

I have read a magazine article on it and it seems pretty simplistic. Harley has a kit that comes with the dual mounting bracket and matching tach and new wire harness. According to what I have read is that you just simply unbolt your speedo and unplug the old wire harness and plug in the new one, mount the speedo and the tach into the new mount and plug everything up and your done. I will be adding one to mine when it arrives.

goodluck,
John
