Left rear footpeg
I'll try this in the dyna forum.......
Is the left rear footpeg support on my 98 (and to 05)
Wide Glide (and all dynas)
is it about 2" to close?
I want to space mine out about 2" for my wife so she has
some foot room on the left side.
is this normal?
(No opinions on if I am normal, please! )

I know the newer ones (06+) have diferent mounts on the swingarm, but early ones....????

Hello Schwangster,
It would look funky on the passenger pegs, but I am usually willing to give up some looks to be comfortable. I installed some heel rests on my forward controls and they extend the pegs out away from the bike about an inch. You could probably use the mounting kit and just not install the rests. Here is a pic.

Don't know if there is enough adjustment to make up for different foot positions on each side, but thought these might be worth your consideration:

I am thinking of making a 2" spacer to fit between the plates that bolt together, just behind the primary.
Can't see why it won't work.
I'm kinda surprized I haven't seen this addressed anywhere before.
