I've read through this topic here and there, but can anyone just tell me where is the inherent problem that everyone is trying to correct by buying and installing these True-Tracks for?
Mainly what is the major malfunction with a stock bike that so badly needs one of these that everyone seems to be clamoring about?
it's mentioned many times throughout the thread and many other threads. either way, if you don't have an issue with your bike, no need to worry about it.
describing it as a major malfunction badly in need of a fix is not really accurate.

Thanks for clearing up any confusion.
Try to think about it as something like why someone else would want a different brand of tire for traction or wear, or engine mods to improve performance. It's not that it's necessary as much as it is something that allows an improvement in an already great machine.
All the True Track, or any other brand, does is prevent lateral movement from rubber mounted engines which causes the famous 'wobble/rear steer/what ever you want to call it problem that people, of course more the ones that really experience it and are aware of it, to be prevented.
You own two bikes that can be fitted with this if you so desired. Touring bikes need only the assistance of an extra heim joint at the rear since they already have a top and front one while the Dynas need two since all they have is a top one.
I bought one because I could feel it. I hoped it would do as all have said before me because I hate....HATE, buying something gimmicky or otherwise gives you some placebo effect of working when it really doesn't. As far as the True Track goes, and I'm sure all the other brands are concerned, this is not one of those. Amazing difference for me and I have yet to read anywhere that someone has put one on and complained that it didn't work.
