Metzeler for Fatbob

Been researching about Metzelers, read a lot of good stuff about em versus the stock Dunlops on my Fatbob. Question is, are the Metzelers sooo much better than the Dunlops that I should just change out the tires now?? Only got about 2K on the Dunlops. Should I get em, or should I wait till the Dunlops wear out?

If it werent the Fatbob I would say yes - but the Stock tires on the Fatbob arent like the thinner Dunslops! I've had Dunslops on the Sporty, electra glide and Fatbob - I would recommend changing them ASAP on the Sporty and the EG, but these tires on the FB are different. My Brother just got the ME880 on his FB and he likes it, but I've got 10,500k miles on the stock with plenty of tread left - I've never gotten that good a mileage on ME880's and the stock FB tires perform. If you do, I'll take your stock tires!

Get your monies worth out of the stock, shop for the best deal while you ride.

if you can afford em, i would get em now and sell your stockers.
my front tire was practically new when i got the metzlers and it just got thrown away.
the tires make enough diff. to make it worth it

I also vote to keep them......unless YOU are unhappy with them now. I have quite a few bikes, and am partial to Metzlers as well, but to me, the difference is not that great.

The rear tire will normally wear out first, I'd change both tires to Metzlers at that time.

Too many other things for you to spend your Bob $$ on
