Cable lengths for a 02 Superglide?
Your clutch cable is 64.69" long (31.74" from lever to adjuster & 32.95" from adjuster to tranny).
I don't know how long the brake line is, but it's easier to measure.
typically you'll measure the distance from the risers to the end of the grip on the stock bar and do the same on the new bar. Add the difference to the stock length and you'll be close.
Another method is to use string and tape to figure the needed length. Always take into account that clutch cables need as few bends as possible for ease of motion and throttle/idle cables are the same but not as severe.
Bottom line is there is no easy answer or formula for all bikes - each one is different and each bar is different (my 18" Wild1 Psycho Chubbys are wider at the grip than most other 18" apes - they are 37" wide).
Good luck and let us know if you have any other questions...
By the way, welcome to the forum!
I was then able to position each cable how and where I wanted. Each one was held in place where it ran "short". I then measured the distance it was short with a tape measure.
