Question WTF...Bike won't start!...HELP!!!

My bike is my ride to work so please help!!!

Everytime I turn on the ignition, the alarm (turn signal indicators) start flashing. The start button proceeds to do nothing when depressed. I have the bike on the jiffy stand, but it seems the bike thinks that it isn't. My turn signals have been removed for almost a year, so I don't think that is the problem. It did it last night at work and I finally got it started but today it won't come to life. Thanks in advance for the help.

Two quick thoughts, is the bike in neutral and is your key fob close to the bike? I know those are silly and obvious, but it can happen.

key fob batteries dead?
My fob requires me to depress the button for a couple of sec. to activate... to deactivate two quick presses. maybe depress button twice to see if that turns alarm off.

Friend's bike has the same symptoms, especially he direction lights flashing.

It was the fob battery.

Was at my local Harley dealership (Old Glory Harley Davidson) picking my bike up a few weeks ago and there was a gentlemen with the same problem standing in front of me.
Just as the good folks here have suggested, it was his FOB battery. After paying around $3.50 for a battery, he was on his way.

In the owners manual, it tells you how to disarm the alarm if the battery goes dead in the fob. I would try that. If it works... you know it's the fob battery.
