I guess I will be hanging out here too. I just got a 06 streetbob, blk denium with only 5800 miles. I will post pics when I can but it pretty plain. Just has aftermarket exhuast on it
Those are pretty cool I'm thinking about one. I'm waiting to find the right deal. This economy is crushing the used bike market and I'm pretty much open to anything with a 96" motor and a 6 speed.
I really like the 09 Streetbobs, the black laced wheels and rear fender look cool as hell.
The '06 has the six speed, and the 96" motor isn't worth the "wait". I am speaking from experience. I used to have a '06 Wide Glide, had to sell it, and now have an '07. If I could sell this '07 and buy a bike with the 88" I'd do it in a heart beat. I liked the feel of the motor better. Plus, the 95" S.E. is an awesome upgrade, as opposed to the 96. Just sayin. Congrats on the new Street Bob, awesome bike.

Yeah I know what your saying, Im happy with the 88 never thought it was a dog. My other has the 96 but probably going to leave that one just stage 1. This sb and the 88 they sky the limit to the mods. I plan on doing a lot more to the streetbob than my streetglide. My streetglide is pretty much set up the way I want it and that didnt take much. I know the street bob is going to be a whole other beast.

There is an old hot rodder expression that comes to mind here. "There's no replacement for displacement," starting from a bigger platform and building two similar motors with similar upgrades, the bigger will be faster. Where the 88 has the 95" upgrade the 96 has the 103. a matter of taste I guess. The rest is just tuning.
Not to mention I'm spoiled, I must have a 6-speed, didn't think they went into the 06s. Thats really cool though, expands my search a bit.
