Was helping a buddy put some parts on today when he says "How much do you think you spent". His bike is totally stock except for some small doo-dads. He tells me what he wants to do with his and was asking me what certain parts cost. I mean I never really sat there and added everything up that I did or added but man it was a lot! About $10k! Then when I go home I'm looking down in the basement at all the boxes filled with parts. Everything from 3 sets of mirrors to stock wheels to motor parts. Man with the bike being almost 2 yrs old I could of paid it off within the first year! Just wondering what everyone else has invested. Money & time wise?
I have caught a lot of deals on the forum classifieds and on eBay. Dealer has still hit me pretty hard. I probably have $7000 in her now, but have recooped 30 - 40% of that selling take-offs and redos.

X2.
Probably a little more than 10K since I did the heads twice and 3 different tuners. Only thing left to do would be wheels and paint. Everything is chromed. Nothing else to put on it. I'd also like to get either a Street Glide or Ultra but they won't give me anything for my bike so I will have to wait to pay it off and then have 2 bikes.
