New FXDC, comparrison/impression
Power - nice vs my Ultra but not as quick as the Nightster, however, at speed much better.
Ride - No comparrison to the Nightster, night and day so to speak, very nice, smooth. Bike tracks great in turns and on grooved slab. A little wobble but thats from the huge clearview I have hanging on the bars, might cut it down or go back to teh stock sheild for around town and short cruising.
Comfort - Already ordered the Kury forwards from Eastern Perf for $299 + free shipping. Seat seems fine but will need to do a 400 miler before I make my mind up on that.
Looks - I love the color in the sun, more importantly the OL loves it, going to chrome the hell out of this bike. Has the classic Harley look.
Mechanical - Front brake sucks, part because I gave up the floating rotor but that should not be that much of a difference, planning a different rotor ( any ideas here), and Lyndall brake pads. Motor, broke it in yesterday, will switch to Mobil 1 in all theree holes today and again at 1K.
Dislikes - Brakes, Mid Controls
Likes - Everything else (Needs More Chrome)

If you wouldn't mind, let me know what you decide to do about the front brake. I can always use more brake!
Congrats again and welcome to the Dyna family!
Would like to see that bike again after the rims are chromed. Looking for options myself. I love spokes but I don't have the patience and dexterity to clean them. Thinking about fitting a deuce rear wheel on the back and have it polished (or do it myself) and going with something else on the front or maybe leave it alone as the front spokes are easier to clean anyway. But a set of alloy wheels bathed in chrome isn't a bad option either if the price is right.
